The Silk Route Collection is a London antique sourcing company. We find exceptional objects in India and bring them to designers, collectors and private clients around the world.

The work began with a single carved door, bought badly and shipped at great expense, which turned out to be the most interesting thing in the room it eventually reached. Everything since has followed from that: the conviction that an object made by hand, for use, over generations, holds an interior together in a way a reproduction cannot.

We travel several months a year. We buy fewer pieces than we could. What is offered here has been handled, questioned, and in most cases turned down twice before being bought.

We are not a shop. There is no checkout, no inventory to clear, no season. If something in the collection interests you, write and we will tell you everything we know about it — including what we do not.
